We offer a very nurturing environment to give children a positive theater experience. Children experience every aspect of musical theater - from learning harmonies, practicing lines, selecting costumes, painting/building sets and props, and much more.

No, children do not audition to be a part of a session or summer camp. Within the first few days of any session, parts are given based on students' comfort and ability level.

9 year olds who have theater experience may enjoy the Middle Theater group. If your child has no previous theater experience it may be best to start in Little Theater. Middle Theater sessions last considerably longer than Little Theater and it requires a stronger committment from children to learn more lines, songs, etc.
For a determination, we ask that you contact Gloria Krutul at gloria@threeringtheater.com.

We discourage families from signing up on the first day without prior notice. This is because we have a cap on the number of students in each session, in order to give enough attention to each child enrolled. If, at the last minute, you would like to register your child, please call Gloria Krutul at 410-433-6942 to verify that space is available. This is especially true for summer camp.

We ask that you pay a deposit before a session or camp begins. This can be paid online or by mailing a check.

Yes, we provide snacks and drinks daily during the sessions. When a performance is approaching, there are occasionally extended rehearsal times. On those days, we may ask that you pack a bag lunch for your child (these lunches can be refrigerated). We will let families know in advance if a lunch is needed.
During summer camp, students bring their own lunches which can be refrigerated.

No. The students learn what play they will be doing on the 1st day of the session. This is because we must know how many children will be in the session before committing to a play, as some require a large cast.

If your child will need to miss a day or two, please let Gloria know in advance. Let her know in person, by emailing her at gloria@threeringtheater.com or by calling her at 410-433-6942.
We understand that children will have other commitments at times during the session. We do ask that families make every effort to bring their child to each rehearsal so that your child has the best possible theater experience. It helps your child have ample interaction on-stage with the rest of the group.

We always maintain a nurturing and pressure-free environment for all students. If your child is anxious about being on-stage, he or she can be in a large group scene, work on sets and stage production - or whatever they are comfortable with. Only positive encouragement is given! Our experience has been that shy children do well after a few weeks of participation.

No. All performances are free and everyone is invited! Bring as many people as you'd like, we have a large seating space. A goodwill donation is always welcome at the door.

Yes, but only for Middle and Teen summer camp sessions. These lunches can be refrigerated. Little theater summer camp days end at 1pm, and a snack is provided. Of course, families can always pack something special for their child.

Families can write off their summer camp payment if it qualifies as a legitimate dependant care expense for your family. This generally means that if your child requires daytime care because the parent is working, you may be able to write-off the expense. Check with your accountant to make sure that your family qualifies for this. If so, we can provide you with the information your accountant will need. Please contact Christina Roskovich at webmaster@threeringtheater.com for this info.
Families cannot write off seasonal session payments, as the rehearsals take place one day per week on Saturdays.
